THE FASTEST WAY TO LEARN SNAPSHOT

Workshops are the fastest way to learn Snapshot and the Korem Profiling System® (KPS). You can develop competency by studying Dan’s books or you can condense your learning curve to one day, be tested for your accuracy, and we can personally coach you to ensure you achieve your goals and objectives, professionally and personally.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE WORKSHOP

  • Learn the four Snapshot reads.
  • Your Snapshot reads will be tested with video clips.
  • Average class accuracy starts at 25–35% and increases to 80-90%.
  • Application accuracy: not only will your Snapshot read accuracy go up, but so will your accuracy how to use your read, like the examples on the The Results page.
  • How to use Snapshot to accomplish your specific needs and goals.
  • How to use Snapshot to avoid racial, cultural, and ethnic stereotyping.
  • How to read anyone from any culture.
  • How to use Snapshot to detect deception (optional)
  • Materials provided:
    • Snapshot and Art of Profiling (hardbound books)
    • Workshop notes
    • Laminated Gauge Sheet

ONLINE LIVE OR IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS (WHEN AVAILABLE)

Both formats deliver the same bottom line performance accuracy. A key difference is an online workshop is delivered in three 2.5-hour sessions, and in-person workshops in an 8-hour format.

  • ONLINE: This is a live presentation. We find participant interaction is many times greater because people “chat” in their insights and new applications live as they make connections, allowing faculty to address and reinforce.
  • IN-PERSON: Powerful team competitions are created where groups learn from each other, and organizations quickly assess who is best at making, applying, and teaching others Snapshot reads. (The same is possible in online workshops by using “rooms” for collaboration.)

COACHING FOLLOW-UP SESSIONS

THIS IS THE MOST POWERFUL PART OF THE LEARNING PROCESS that goes beyond reinforcement. We provide a minimum of two coaching sessions to ensure your success how you uniquely want to use Snapshot. See the Coaching section below for more details.

When professionals and students are tested, average Snapshot accuracy is only 25-35%. But, in one day of training,

TEST YOUR SKILLS

Interactive Keypad Format Validates Your Accuracy

Your Snapshot skills are tested as you view video clips of real people in real situations. Using the Korem Profiling System®, you’ll have 10 seconds to make a Snapshot read of people in each clip and enter your response on an interactive key pad (provided for both on-line and in-person instruction.)

You’ll also be tested for your accuracy how to best interact with the person you just read.

Remember, it’s about reading and treating people right the first time.

Our system tracks your accuracy, and collective class responses are displayed so you can see your progress in comparison to everyone else.

When applicable, classes are divided into competing teams.

YOUR ABILITY TO READ AND TREAT PEOPLE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME IS TESTED

Classes not only learn to make Snapshot reads accurately, but when shown a list of options how to apply the read with the person they just profiled, their accuracy also increases proportionately.

(Shown are actual results from a 2020 workshop. The bar on the left is “read” accuracy and bar on the right is application accuracy.)

snapshot-logo-horz-white-300 COACHING

Coaching sessions are where the magic happens and new applications are uncovered, like those you’ve read on the The Results page. There are two different coaching formats.

GROUP COACHING

  • FORMAT: Up to 25 participants who have completed workshop per 1.5-hour session. Professionals and students typically participate in separate sessions, although we’ve had extreme success when both are in the same session as everyone learns something or real value that they didn’t expect.

  • HOW MANY AND WHEN: Usually at least two sessions. The first session is 4–8 weeks after completing a workshop. The second session is 4–8 weeks after the first session. The time frames allow for multiple applications of Snapshot and greater faculty input.

  • MONTHLY AND QUARTERLY TRAINING OPTIONS: Contact us for more information. (We are currently organizing formats for students)

  • IN THE SESSION: Each person explains how they’ve used Snapshot professionally or as a student… and… how they’ve used it in their professional life (discretion is, of course, applied).

    • Faculty provides guidance how to sharpen reads and applications and how to use in other areas as well.

    • Faculty provides guidance where a person has struggled. A common example is when someone tries to use Snapshot for a situational rather than a behavioral read as explained in Snapshot, Chapter 11. One financial institution, for example, unsuccessfully attempted to use Snapshot to identify a client’s assets—a situational read—rather than using Snapshot to quickly establish trust for full disclosure, which requires a behavioral read.

PERSONAL COACHING

  • FORMAT: This varies by client and is tailored to their needs. Please contact us for more information.

WHO CAN BENEFIT?

  • Corporate Professionals
  • Educators
  • Students
  • Parents
  • Healthcare Workers
  • Government Employees
  • Real Estate Agents
  • Lawyers
  • Athletic Coaches
  • Anyone who coaches others

In short, anyone who interacts with others can benefit from Snapshot.

Participants learn from each other.

They are exposed to new ways to use their new skill, in addition to being personally coached.

Virtually all the results and new applications on the Results page were identified during coaching sessions.

USED BY PROFESSIONALS AROUND THE GLOBE

DO YOU THINK SHE NEEDS SNAPSHOT?

Dan had just finished lecturing at a European university and was then interviewed by reporters. As he left, he saw a reporter interviewing a professor and the photo tells it all. No eye contact. She had no interest in him as a person, let alone how to professionally treat him right the first time to put him at ease so he could do the interview (like the Swiss reporter on the How It Works page.

Snapshot is not just about how to communicate with someone effectively, but as important, how to lead someone so they can perform at their optimum. In this case, putting an interviewee at ease so he can perform on camera.
